Flatbed towing in Edmonton and area
AWD, 4x4, low to the ground or not rolling at all? A flatbed lifts your whole vehicle off the road. Call any time, and you get the price in writing before we hook up.
About flatbed towing
A flatbed carries your vehicle on a flat deck instead of towing it with two wheels on the road. All four wheels stay off the ground for the whole trip, so the drivetrain, tires and suspension aren't turning or taking the bumps.
That matters most for AWD and 4x4 vehicles. Towing them with some wheels on the road can strain parts that are costly to fix. A flatbed avoids the problem completely.
It's also the careful choice for low-clearance cars, luxury and sports cars, vehicles with a damaged wheel or axle, and anything that can't roll after a breakdown or a collision. Not sure whether you need one? Tell us what you drive and what happened, and we'll help you decide on the phone.
In winter, a vehicle that's been in the ditch or has a brake frozen in place may not roll freely at all. A flatbed doesn't need it to.
Like every tow we do, you get the price in writing before we load your vehicle, and nothing is towed until you say yes. You also choose where it goes: home, your mechanic, a body shop or a dealership.

Questions about flatbed towing
Can you tow an electric car?
Yes. Electric vehicles go on the flatbed, with all four wheels off the ground.
Why does my AWD vehicle need a flatbed?
With some wheels on the road and others lifted, an AWD system can end up working against itself, which can damage the drivetrain. On a flatbed, all four wheels are off the ground, so nothing turns.
Is flatbed towing more expensive?
Not necessarily. The price depends on distance, your vehicle, what happened, the time and the weather, not only the type of truck. You get it in writing before we hook up. See what changes the price.
Can you move a car that won't roll?
Yes. A flatbed doesn't need the wheels to turn, so a vehicle with a seized brake, a damaged wheel or a broken axle can still be loaded and moved.
Can you take it to the dealership?
Yes. You choose where it goes: a dealership, your mechanic, a body shop or home.
